Our vision for our Pipworth Stars is for all pupils to become healthy, confident and active by providing a wide variety of opportunities both in and out of school. Through our delivery of PE and School Sport we will allow all pupils to achieve the best of their ability, develop their physical confidence and competence to enjoy being physically active. A key reason why we value PE and Sport is the wider benefit we believe it brings in developing the ‘Whole Person’ through being proud of all their achievements while promoting fair play and respect. At Pipworth our vision we hope, will lead to a lifelong passion of being physically active.

 We have a progressive, sequenced curriculum that builds upon Fundamental skills from FS2. The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of all children, including the most vulnerable, so everyone can participate equally. Our curriculum challenges children to develop their sport specific skills and knowledge progressively, developing their fluency of sport specific skills and allowing them to focus on tactical patterns. Because some children at Pipworth Primary School do not have access to enriching out-of-school opportunities, we provide the experiences we know are valuable in developing the whole child through sporting opportunities, inter-school and intra-school competition, and sporting cultural capital. We offer before school, during school and after school sporting clubs to nourish pupils sporting abilities. We were voted Links PE School of the year in 2021.
